Doesn't work for me on Firefox/Linux.... changing the boxes does nothing.
And it kills my Mozilla dead as a duck. I don't have any other browsers on this machine... posted by lupus_yonderboy at 3:12 PM on September 30, 2005

That's a drag. Works fine in Safari and Camino. Craps out in IE 5.2 and Opera. It's still in beta, I hope they improve browser support. posted by btwillig at 3:33 PM on September 30, 2005

Works great in the (Deer Park) version of Firefox in Windows. Very nice.
Ayn Marx: I don't think the designer is expecting it to be perfect, hence beta. There's a link to report bugs. posted by Kiell at 4:36 PM on September 30, 2005
No problems with Firefox on WinXP, though I hate to be contributing to the comments-as-QA.
So, I'll add, this is right up there with colorwhore. posted by ddf at 4:53 PM on September 30, 2005
For those this doesn't seem to work for, check the requirements tab. Among other things listed are:
JavaScript: In order to use the application, please turn JavaScript on.
Firefox extensions: Due to variety of extensions for Firefox available, some extensions could break some Typetester’s functions. Please do report troubles. If possible, provide a list of installed extensions. posted by Roger Dodger at 5:03 PM on September 30, 2005

In general, I couldn't care less about fonts, but I must admit this is very well done (at least as far as the user experience in opera goes). That colour picker is a work of beauty. posted by fvw at 5:53 PM on September 30, 2005
